Welcome back everybody!

This term we are exploring Our Precious World.  We will look particularly at the changing seasons, we have already begun to find out about freezing and ice.  This week we are planning to make bird feeders for our garden as the children were concerned that the birds might be getting hungry.

We are currently reading 'One Snowy Night' by Nick Butterworth and 'The Gruffalo's Child' by Julia Donaldson.  Read them at home with your child.

We will be celebrating Chinese New Year which is on the 31st January this year.  We are decorating our home corner in preparation and the children are busy making Chinese hats, dragons and cards.  We are also planning to cook and eat some chinese food.

Ask your child to sing our special St David's Day song to you. We are busy learning this for our special performance at the school Eisteddfod on March 7th.  We have some talented singers in the Nursery this year so we are sure to have a lovely event.

Mrs Richards is visiting Uganda over half term and as a follow up we will be learning all about Africa when she returns.

Thank you for your continued support.
